In a FABshell: DigiFab Inside Out!

Fab Lab New Cairo (FLiNC) started 3 years ago in 2015. It's the first Fab Lab in West Cairo.

FLiNC is for all of you makers, students, teachers, engineers, and designers and everyone who want to bring their ideas from the mental to the physical world! We’re near you at the 5th Settlement, offering advanced digital fabrication equipment and high-level hands-on workshops and trainings in different subjects serving a wide variety of age groups.

In our lab, we care about your learning experience. Our main target is to experience everything with our own hands, learn creatively and share openely.

Getting Ready for Maker Faire Cairo!

Maker Faire Cairo is a huge makers gathering. It's an annual event bringing all makers, hobbists and professionals from all over Egypt to come together to showcase their work, share their experience and knowledge, attend workshops and other fun activities.

Fab Thinking Program with Little Stark Egypt.

"Fab Thinking" is a program offered at FLiNC that combines Design Thinking and Digital Fabrication in a fun engaging way. For 5 days, Little Stark kids learned working on machines, coding with electronics and developed their own moving robots.

Fab Thinking Program with ACES Egypt.

ACES is the first and one of the most esteemed student activities in Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. FLiNC and ACES are coming together to do the "Fab Thinking" program for College students.
